SPKA stands for Sistem Pengawasan Kebakaran Automatik, a mandatory fire monitoring system regulated by Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM) under Act 341.

The system uses IoT connectivity and intelligent monitoring workflows to verify fire alarms within 180 seconds, helping improve response efficiency and reduce unnecessary dispatches.

An active SPKA connection is required for applicable premises during Fire Certificate (FC) inspection and renewal.

Government-Appointed SPKA Service Provider

Crystal Solaris Sdn Bhd has been appointed by the Government through Kementerian Pembangunan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT) to provide SPKA installation and services nationwide.

From Fire Alarm to Bomba

    Fire Alarm Triggered

    A connected fire alarm signal is detected from the building’s Fire Alarm Control Panel.

  2. 02

    Signal Transmitted

    The event is transmitted through the SPKA system for monitoring and verification.

  3. 03

    Verification

    The system initiates its verification workflow within the 180-second verification period.

  4. 04

    Bomba Notification

    Verified incidents are escalated to the Bomba control environment for further action.

Emergency escalation within approximately 10 seconds.

An exclusive feature of the Crystal Solaris SPKA system, the 1-press Emergency Button provides an additional emergency escalation channel.

Once activated, an emergency alert is transmitted directly to the Bomba Control Room (PGO/PGOK) within approximately 10 seconds.

What is SPKA?
